Measuring Your Finger Size

A: Obtain a tape or a piece of paper approx 0.25 inch wide. (String will not give you a good measure as it doesn't allow for the width of a ring)

B: Wrap the paper around the base of the finger and where the paper overlaps mark with a pen.

C: Measure in millimetres the distance from the starting point of the paper to the pen mark.

D: Taking the measurement, use the table above (mm around finger) to convert to UK size.

E: Try and measure your finger size at room temperature and at the end of the day for the best measurement.

F: To help the accuracy of your size create a ring from the paper and check it goes over your knuckle easily.

Taking a measurement from an existing ring: ideal for a surprise.

A: Measure the internal diameter of the ring and convert using the table below, (mm across ring)

Or

B: Slide the ring down a tapered candle and measure the circumference of the candle where the ring fits.
